Receiving a collar is a HUGE milestone in the life of a sub. It doesn’t matter what it looks like. Some collars are actually just necklaces. Some collars are taken right off the shelf at a pet store. Other collars are chains with a padlock. It just depends on what is right for you and your Dom/me.

Sir and I talked a long time about collars. After deciding on a specific company, I posted a link to them on here. After waiting (not always so) patiently, I finally have Sir’s collar around my neck. It’s been fun going out in it. The knowledge of what it stands for, when being complimented on the ‘cute necklace’ by the little old lady at the buffet we went to for lunch.

It looks like an alternative type of necklace. But in fact IS locked. It does not come off unless purposefully done. Sir worked with the amazing Lorri over at Wyred Slave to get the tag just right. He and I are both extremely happy with how it turned out.

 On one side, are 8 dots, to make it Sir’s lego. On the other is an inscription - it reads “This pet is owned and protected by ****** Any and all concerns with My pet will be directed to Me personally. She is Mine to do with as I see fit and will be handled accordingly.” Then on the edges are Kitten, lego and wife. Sir put it on my neck the first night of our vacation. It’s been a great source of pride for me.
